food & beverages
All meals and accompanying drinks are covered. We'll be bringing in caterers for healthy and freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner from Friday evening to Monday morning.
There is a fully stocked bar, they do everything: 0.0's, craft beers, wine, champagne, spirts, and cocktails. If you want to grab something you like, separate to what comes with meals, they'll bill you directly.
Additionally, there is an onsite shop. Actually, "shop" doesn't do it justice, but it stocks everything from clothing to snacks, drinks, bits and pieces.

amenities
There are three large hot tubs, Japanese baths, and saunas. They'll be made available from lunch-time and throughout the day / early evening on Saturday and Sunday as part of the schedule of activities, but also for you to use at your leisure.
There are also a limited number of spots available for spa treatments and massages, but these need to be reserved in advance. Please indicate on the form if you'd like to avail of these at some point and we'll send you a link to Cabü's booking page. They'll bill you directly for this service.
Given the location, it should be no surprise that there are a bunch of outdoor activities, and we have scheduled time for these in the programme. Activities are boating (with outboard motor), kayaking, fishing, biking, swimming (for the brave!), trails for walking and running.
In-cabin amenities include: spacious bathrooms, living area, kitchen with fridge, dining area, deck, comfortable bedding, blackout blinds, wood-burning stoves, WiFi, woodland and lake views.
There will be a full compliment of staff from Cabü, including late night staff, to ensure your weekend is relaxing, safe, comfortable, and enjoyable.
To get more of a feel, check out Cabü's website.

travel & transport
If you're coming from outside Ireland, please make sure you're in Dublin City by midmorning on Friday 25th April. For some of you, depending on flight schedules, this might mean that you have to fly the afternoon before.
We'll be departing from Baseline (our community and workspace of early stage founders in Dublin - https://maps.app.goo.gl/ARFXvtdtNc8HjVaX8) at 1pm Friday 25th April, by coach. We'll be back at Baseline around 1pm on Monday 28th April. If there are enough people who are heading straight to the airport we will schedule a second transport to bring them straight there.
If you need accommodation before the Friday 25th April, or after Monday 28th April, the Hyatt Centric and Stay City are a short walk from Baseline. Dublin is a great city with lots to do, if you feel like extending your visit either side of the weekend do let us know, and of course please feel welcome to work from Baseline.

what to bring
Clothing - One thing about Ireland: you cannot rely on the weather. So it should be sunny, and maybe even warm. But there are no guarantees. Consider packing an extra layer such as jumper / sweater, and a light rain jacket.
Having said all that, it might not hurt to also bring sun cream.
In case it needs to be said, this is a very casual event, wear what makes you comfortable, no need to dress up unless you feel like it.
Given that the venue is a lakeside woodland, the paths are not all paved, and you should expect some to be more like tracks. So, maybe not a place for your brand new Jordans. But it's also not the top of a mountain, so hiking boots might be overkill.
Comfortable leisure clothing such as tracksuits / yoga wear is best for activities such as biking, boating, kayaking, etc.
Bring bathing suits / trunks for hot tubs and saunas (culturally speaking, saunas are not a "textile-free" environment in Ireland, and swim wear is expected, so please bear that in mind). Clean robes and towels are provided.

programme outline
We want everyone to leave Rebase on Monday morning having made some new friends and feeling refreshed and ready to get back at it.
With that in mind, the programme is going to be lightly structured so as to be flexible as the weekend evolves. We will share a more detailed programme with timings upon arrival.
Friday 25th April: Arrival
Those who are driving, please aim to arrive at Cabü no sooner than 3:30pm.
Those who are not driving, meet at Baseline at 1pm for transport by coach. Please do not be late.
We'll have a welcome reception on arrival with some light refreshments and snacks, while your keys will be issued, and bags moved to your cabins by staff.
Dinner will be around 7pm, explore the site and amenities, or hang out with other guests before then.
After dinner drinks / chats / wind down.
Saturday 26th April: Building
We'll kick off with optional run, yoga, Wim Hof sessions before breakfast.
After breakfast we'll run a whole group session / conversation on building and product development, with contributions from a few later stage founders.
Then we'll break out into smaller self organised groups around challenges that have surfaced up in the conversation.
Next up is lunch, followed by an afternoon of activities in smaller groups.
Free / down time before dinner might be called for.
Dinner will be easy going followed by hangouts then wind down.
Sunday 27th April: Growth
Pretty much the same format as Saturday including activities, but thematically structured around growth and all the things that come with it.
Monday 28th April: Departure
After breakfast it'll be time to hit the road. You'll leave the same way you arrived. If enough people are flying out on Monday afternoon we'll organise an airport coach transfer.
